In the summer of 2004, he was a member of the England Counties squad that toured Canada.
In November 2006, he made his debut for Italy
for whom he qualifies through an Italian grandmother. He has also represented Italy in the IRB 7s tournament in 2007.
He also played for Lancashire when they won the County Championship.
