Geography

Warrington is located at 39°54′27"N 85°38′02"W.
Warrington was first platted in by John Oldham in 1834. The name Warrington was given to the town by Mr Oldham because his ancestors had come from Warrington England. At one time Warrington was a busy town and an important community center. It once boasted a hotel, horse track,post office and many other businesses. Around the turn of the century Warrington began to change. The railroad and interurban was built through Wilkinson just down the road and the school and post offices were moved there. The horse track was destroyed in a storm in 1902 annd wasn't rebuilt.
Today Warrington is a quiet little village with several active churches with busy state road 109 running through it.
