Waterview Tower is a partially constructed residential skyscraper

, United States. The original plan called for it to be 1047 ft (319.1 m) tall. The plan as of July 2011 is to build a 65-story, 500-unit luxury apartment building.
In May 2008, construction ceased after the parking garage portion and most of the hotel floors were completed. The project has been idle since that time, except for workers doing tasks to cure safety violations that the City of Chicago demanded be fixed. Construction will resume in early 2012 and will finish in early 2014.
In May 2010, a consortium of creditors and lienholders (called Clark Wacker LLC) took over ownership of the project. Related Midwest
acquired the project in July 2011, with plans to develop the structure into a 65-story, 500-unit luxury apartment building. It would become the 6th tallest building in Chicago.
