, who provide all passenger train services. The station was formerly a junction between the lines to Lancaster (opened in 1850) and Carnforth (opened 1867), but the Lancaster line was closed in 1966. The junction was the site of a derailment on 11th August 1880

Services

From Monday to Saturday, there are five daily services to Lancaster (25mins) and Leeds (1hr20). On Sundays there are four services in each direction all year round since the May 2011 timetable change (prior to this the first two ran only in the summer months).
