. It ran for approximately 18km from the Port Fairy railway line near Moriac to Wensleydale, Victoria
. It was built in the 1890's with the intention of transporting timber and gravel out of the area. Apart from troop trains during World War II
the line saw very little traffic and was abandoned by 1950.
