West Herr consistently participates in the annual Buffalo Auto Show. In May 2009, Ford chose West Herr's Hamburg location as the first spot in the nation to debut their 2010 Taurus Sedan.
In 2004, West Herr won the Torch Award for Marketplace ethics from the Better Business Bureau
for the third time. This made them the only Buffalo business to accomplish this feat.
West Herr was also heavily involved in repairs during the 2009–2010 Toyota vehicle recalls
