Train services

The West Kowloon Terminus will be served by both short haul services and long haul train services. Short haul services consist of shuttle trains to neighbouring mainland China cities including Shenzhen, Dongguan and Guangzhou, while long haul services link Hong Kong with at least 16 major destinations in mainland China. Six platforms will be designated for short haul trains while nine will be designated for long haul trains.

Short haul services

• 4tph to Shenzhen North
• 2tph to Guangzhou South

Long haul services

• 33tpd to 16 major Chinese cities including Beijing and Shanghai.
