The West Virginia Public Service Commission is the Public Utilities Commission
of the State of West Virginia
. There are currently three members of the commission.
Some of its major duties are to regulate public utility companies that provide electric power, natural gas and water to the citizens of West Virginia as well as regulating common and contract motor carriers.
Current commissioners as of 2010 are Michael A. Albert, Chair, Jon W. McKinney and Ryan B. Palmer.
