. It is situated mostly on a hillside and is a recent development of the city, dating back to the late 1970s. It is still under development, with the end of Pentonville Close being most recently settled with modern family homes typical of middle to upper-middle class New Zealanders, predominantly in the usual bungalow style. A new development has been added to or near the Westmorland Suburb called 'Worsley'. There is a road nearby called 'Worsleys Road'. This is connected to Westmorland through Pentonville Close, located at the base of Westmorland. The people who live in Westmorland are mostly wealthy, as houses tend to be quite expensive. The crime is low to non-existent and people have said "if you can't walk the streets at night in Westmorland, where can you?"
