, Whitney had been involved in a pair of low-budget films: Age of Kali (2005) and Dead Lenny (2006). While the former film was considered a surprising success in the eyes of many critics, the latter (Dead Lenny) was considered a woeful disappointment despite having some well-known actors in the cast. Shortly after the disappointment of Dead Lenny, Able tried her hand at television. She received the role of Meredith in the pilot episode of Secrets of a Small Town and also worked on the television series Rodney.
