Wild Animal Baby Explorers is a television show designed to introduce preschoolers to the world of animals and help them develop important observation, problem-solving and listening skills. The series combines 3D animated characters and wildlife footage to introduce animal facts and nurture young viewers’ inherent love for nature. The show is based on Wild Animal Baby

Funny Habit: When something happens that he doesn’t like, Sammy might get ready to spray a warning and Miss Sally will say, “Stinker Alert!”

Favorite Saying: Why use one word when you can use three or more? Benita “loves, loves, loves” all things wild.
Biggest Challenge: Benita is prone to exaggeration. Benita would never describe the scent of a flower as simply “nice.” For Benita, it is “the best, most lovely flower I’ve ever sniffed!”
Funny Habits: Sometimes we get to see inside Benita’s head where she imagines wildlife doing outlandish things.

Outfit: Pilot goggles
Favorite Saying: “Coo-coo-cool!”
Strengths: Able to fly quickly, and gifted with superb eyesight, Izzy uses his keen bird’s-eye-view to help the Explorers find what they are looking for.
Biggest Challenges: Izzy often zooms off to find the answer before he even knows what the question is! Sometimes Izzy finds it difficult to admit he might have been wrong about something.

Favorite Saying: “Look around and look around some more!” It’s Miss Sally’s way of telling the group to observe nature and the wonderful surprises of everyday life.
Strengths: Because she’s older, Miss Sally speaks from experience. She sees the big picture and the inter-connectedness of things. She encourages others to learn through doing and to seek answers for themselves.
Funny Habits: We never know when or how Miss Sally will appear. She arrives via an amazing variety of travel gear. Even when she’s not around, Miss Sally is watching over the Explorers and makes sure they are safe.
Summary: The Explorers are bored and decide they want to want to go sledding, only to realize they don't have anything to sled on! Looking around, Izzy spots a penguin sliding on its belly into the ice cold water. The team observes how penguins live in this frigid environment and discover that sliding on your belly isn't a bad way to get from one place to another.
Summary: Izzy is having a hard time collecting berries because he can only hold a few in his claws at one time. He wishes he had some kind of carrying devise. The Explorers start thinking about how some animals have “pockets” to hold things and learn about marsupials.
Summary: When Benita has an awful itch in a place she can’t reach, she relies on Izzy to be her back scratcher. But other animals don’t have that luxury so the gang investigates how other animals scratch itches they can’t reach.
Summary: After a game of hopscotch where Benita discovers she can’t jump as well as the others, the Explorers look at the legs on different animals. They see how the size, number, and shape of an animal’s legs affects its behavior.
Summary: After an unsuccessful attempt to tie a know with his wings, Izzy struggles to tie one using his beak. This leads the gang to wonder how other birds use their beaks.
Summary: When an acorn hits Izzy on the head, Sammy thinks the sky is falling. But the explorers soon discover that it’s only an acorn falling from a tree. Then they investigate how acorns turn into oak trees.
Summary: Skip and his friends are playing a game of "I Spy" and realize some animals are easier to see than others. After sighting a beautiful ladybug, they begin to wonder what the spots on its back mean and go in search of other creatures with interesting markings.
Summary: Benita is planting her garden when Sammy the Skunk sees what he thinks is a strange "walking leaf." But leaves don’t walk! When the Explorers look more closely, they find a beetle underneath, and the group decides to find out more about this interesting insect.
Summary: When Sammy hides because he does not want to take his bath, the Explorers set out on an adventure to see how other wild animals clean themselves. Along the way they see elephants using their trunks as showers and buffaloes bathing with dirt. Yes, dirt!
Summary: Izzy and the Explorers spot a group of dolphins swimming in the ocean and decide to follow them. By watching closely, the team learns about the unique characteristics of these creatures, including the amazing way they communicate with each other.
Summary: Sammy jumps out from a pile of autumn leaves and surprises his friends with a loud, "Boo!" When he notices some birds flying away, he worries that he scared them off. The Explorers follow their feathered friends and discover where the birds are actually going.
Summary: During a game of Hide and Seek, Skip chooses to hide in front of a rock that is the same color as his fur. The group struggles to find him even though he’s right in front of their eyes! The Explorers then become curious about other animals that use their colors to blend in to nature.
Summary: When the Explorers spot a gigantic "fish bird" fly out of the water, they decide to investigate. In the process, they stumble across a coral reef teaming with life and discover how that animals that live there get along.
Summary: After a delicious picnic, Miss Sally poses the question, "Can you imagine if you only ate just about one thing only?" So the Explorers set out to find animals that only eat one or two things to survive.
Summary: When Skip has trouble making it up a snowy hill without slipping, the Explorers decide to search out animals that have "grips" well suited for the environments they live in.
Summary: In search of bananas, the Explorers remember that monkeys like to eat bananas. If they can find a monkey, then maybe they can find bananas. That quest leads them to observe many different kinds of monkeys.
Summary: When the Explorers take a dip to cool down after playing a game of "Simon Says" they encounter a large, yawning hippo. They make the most of the situation by learning all about this large animal.
Summary: While hunting for sea shells Sammy stumbles upon a huge shell. The Explorers soon discover this isn't any old shell when a head pops out and the shell starts to crawl away. Sammy and his friends go on a quest to learn about land and sea turtles.

Sammy, the cute, curious skunk featured in [Wild Animal Baby] magazine, is an explorer in the making. His enthusiasm for learning is matched only by his love of hide-and-seek. Episode 20A – "Leader of the Pack"
Educational Objective: Viewers will observe coyotes working together to raise their pups, search for food, and protect their territory.Summary: While playing soccer, the Explorers hear a wild sound. It doesn’t take them long to discover the sound was made by a coyote. They also discover that coyotes are interesting animals that do a lot more than howl.
Episode 20B –"Telling Tails"
Educational Objective: Viewers will observe how animals use their tails.Summary: Benita makes a huge wave when she splashes her big, flat tail. So Miss Sally challenges the Explorers to find out how different animals use their tails.
Episode 21A – "Head Gear"
Educational Objective: Viewers will observe animals with horns and antlers.Summary: Benita pretends to be a matador while Sammy pretends to be a bull with horns. This simple game gives Skip the idea to investigate real animals with horns and antlers.
Episode 21B – "Scales and Tails"
Educational Objective: Viewers will observe reptiles, including lizards, iguanas, crocodiles, and alligators, and learn about reptiles’ unique characteristics and behaviors.Summary: It’s Sammy’s birthday and he wants to go exploring for dragons even though the others tell him they are not real. So the Explorers go looking for animals that look like dragons instead.
Episode 22A – "Romp of Otters"
Educational Objective: Viewers will observe similarities and differences between river and sea otters.Summary: When Izzy spots a bunch of otters hanging out in the water, the Explorers decide to learn all about river and sea otters.
Episode 22B– "Sea Softies"
Educational Objective: Viewers will observe various soft-bodied sea creatures, including jellyfish, anemones, octopuses, squid, and cuttlefish.Summary: While cleaning their boat, the Explorers see what looks like balloons in the water. But when they dive in for a closer look, they discover lots of sea creatures with soft bodies.
Episode 23A– "Wild Ride"
Educational Objective: Viewers will observe the different ways mother animals carry their babies.Summary: When Sammy wants a piggyback ride from Skip, Benita wonders how other animals carry each other. This prompts the Explorers to find out how different baby animals get rides from their mothers.
