Zaha started the 2011-2012 season in good form, coming off the bench at home against Coventry City to assist 2 goals and secure a great comeback from 1-0 down to win the game 2-1. Both of the goals came in extra-time. A week later Zaha scored 2 second half goals in a League Cup game at home to Crawley Town. In the following league cup game at home to Wigan Athletic Zaha again proved to be the pivotal player assisting the first of the goals in a 2-1 win. Zaha scored his third goal in the 2011-2012 League Cup opening the scoring at home to Middlesbrough F.C.

On the 27th September 2011 Zaha scored the first of 3 goals to help Palace fight back against arch rivals Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Atdium, finally winning the game 3-1. The next league game Zaha got himself a 3rd assist of the season and his third in the league by setting up Glenn Murray
against West Ham United. Away to Watford F.C on Saturday 15 October Zaha scored another superb goal to help Palace to a 2-0 victory. Away to Manchester United on Wednesday 30 November, Zaha was key in Crystal Palace's win over the Red Devils and assisted the first of Palace's two goals.
