. The college takes its name from William Branwhite Clarke
, an Anglican clergyman who arrived in Australia during 1839. He was a headmaster of The King's School Parramatta, the first incumbent of the Parish of Castle Hill, but is also remembered as a noted and respected geologist. The school's motto is "Christ Our Wisdom." At present the college is in the process of expanding to a K-12 school for its previous 7-12 status. The College offers a Christian education for students in K-12.
The school has a principal, Mr David Raphael, deputy, Mr Scott Marsh (also acting as dean for middle and junior school), currently a dean for senior school, Mr John Montgomery. Mr Ian Hird is the director of curriculum. The most successful year for HSC results was 2005 and there has been proven academic success in HSC, SC and NAPLAN.
The school exceeds 1000 students and is attended by students from the Hills district and other surrounding suburbs.
The founding principal was Philip Bryson who served in the role until mid 2002.
The college's students and staff are divided into twelve houses each named after a famous Christian (some still living) the house are further divided into tutor groups (6 per house) so that every student is associated with 1 member of staff (their tutor) and around 18 other students from 5-8 and 9-12.

Andrews (Mary Andrews) - Sky blue/Purple
Chapman (John Chapman) - Blue Teal/Sky Blue
Claydon (Robyn Claydon) - Fluoro Green/Silver
Darling (Eliza Darling)- Dark Green
Hamlin (Catherine Hamlin) - Royal Blue/Lemon
Hassall (Mary Hassal) - Burgundy/Powder Blue
Johnson (Richard Johnson) - Gold/Silver
Knox (Rev. Dr. Broughton Knox) - Burnt Orange/Brown
Langdon (Alan Langdon) - Purple/Burnt Orange
Robinson (Donald William Bradley Robinson) - Red/Jade
Warren (Grace Warren) - Navy Blue/Red
White (Dr. Paul White) - White/Bottle Green
Junior house are coloured blue, red, green and yellow respectively.Students in Junior School that later continue into middle will be placed in the middle and high school houses.
