In 1930 Goard attended a special ceremony at the Chicago–Kent College of Law where he was awarded the degree of "Doctor of Laws and Logic" in recognition of excellent scholarship for his book The Law of the Lord: The Common Law (1928). Later he became the President of the World Council of the B.I.W.F and was a prolific author on British Israelism
