WESTEST results for the school are consistently well above state averages for 2005, for all subjects, grades, and subgroups except students with disabilities. The average number of students per teacher is 16.

Sports

WHS is a Single A school. It has held the LKC All Sports Award for more than 20 years (2003-2004 season excepted).
