 area and enrolls approximately 450 students in Pre-K through 12th grade as of 2011.

WCS is a parent-based corporation represented by nearly 100 local churches in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with oversight provided by an elected Board of Directors. They list as their mission to provide "a Christ-centered, challenging academic program with instruction based on the Biblical view of God and the world," and encourage students to integrate biblical truth into their daily life and to impact the culture for Jesus Christ.

 for interscholastic sports, and were 1992 state champions in softball and 1999 state champions in field hockey.

WCS has recently gone through many renovations, giving it a performing arts center, a new lunch room, and a renovated high school.

Athletics

WCS offers a variety of sports in Middle and High School including Boys/Girl Soccer, Girl Volleyball, Girl Field Hockey, Boy Wrestling, Boy Baseball, Girl Softball, Boy/Girl Basketball, Boy/Girl Golf, Boy Lacrosse and more. WCS does not have football as a school sport currently.
