It was replaced in 1912 by a station of the same name west of Wilmington junction on the Victoria Dock Branch Line.

Hull and Hornsea Railway terminus (1864–1912)

The station was constructed as the Hull terminus of the Hull and Hornsea Railway (opened 28 March 1864), it was situated directly east of Wilmington junction where the Hull and Hornsea connected to the Victoria branch line. From June 1864 trains from Hornsea ran through to Paragon station in the city centre of Hull.

In 1912 the station was resituated west of Wilmington junction allowing trains from the Withernsea branch to stop at it on the way to Hull.

Victoria Dock Branch Line (1912–1964)

The station was re-sited on 9 June 1912, 301 yards (275.2 m) due west of its original location, it closed to passengers on 19 October 1964.

Most of the station no longer exists, excluding the booking office and an entrance to a subway under the former trackbed.
