and is the principal settlement in the town. The village is southeast of Binghamton

The village was incorporated in 1896.
The Windsor Village Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places
in 1980. The Jedediah Hotchkiss House
was listed in 1982.

In the village the population was spread out with 27.7% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 16.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 88.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.4 males.

History
In 1830 the new village was founded as a commercial settlement and soon outstripped its rival to the north, Ouaquaga.The village was incorporated in 1896.
