Plot

A flock of ducks are migrating south, but Daffy is unable to keep up with them. As Daffy falls down, Elmer Fudd lures him to crash land on his farm. As Elmer aims his rifle, Daffy pleads for Elmer not to shoot him and offers to be his slave.

Daffy immediately messes up Elmer's chin shaving and soon annoys him to the brink of beheading Daffy. Daffy gives Elmer a delicious meal, but Daffy "tastes" his dish for poison until there's nothing left. An angry Elmer chases Daffy, but Daffy grabs the axe and chops down a tree for firewood, causing the tree to crash on a neighbour's house. Daffy pins it on Elmer, so that the neighbour borrows Elmer's hammer to hit him. Elmer summons his hunting dogs to chase the duck. Finally they march Daffy back to Elmer. Daffy makes an Abraham Lincoln impression and walks off.
