Wolverhampton Bus Station (also known as Pipers Row Bus Station) is a bus interchange in the city centre of Wolverhampton
, in the West Midlands region of England

It is managed by Network West Midlands. Local bus
services operated by various companies serve the bus station which has 19 departure stands and 1 unloading stand. The bus station is conveniently located halfway between Wolverhampton, St George's Midland Metro
tram terminus and Wolverhampton railway station
, both are just a short walk away. It also features glass enclosed waiting areas and electronic doors, allowing passengers out of designated pedestrian areas, only when buses are on stand. Uniquely, the designs for the station have meant that there is no need for buses and pedestrians paths to cross, due to the 'W' shape of the station.
This work was part of a wider range of works as part of the Wolverhampton Interchange Project, which is managed Neptune Developments who were selected by Wolverhampton City Council to undertake the project and plan to create a major mixed use area.
Building work took place during the ensuing months, in which a new pedestrian bridge linking the train and bus stations was built, a contra-flow system installed along the ring road and the bus station re-built. The station re-opened as scheduled on 24 July 2011, a date which co-incided with the Wolverhampton bus network review and marked the end of Phase One of the project.
Phase Two includes the Railway station, a new hotel and redevelopment of the Canal Side area, however a date for this has yet to be finalized.
Consequently, just two thirds of bus services using the City Centre will serve the new station.

Re-build
The station, which had existed since 1986, was set to close on 16 October 2009, be demolished and rebuilt, but these plans were delayed. Controversy
When the list of buses serving the station was revealed it was met with controversy by many local residents, businesses and councillors. Many frequent services which previously served the station no longer would. This was due to the bus network review taking place on the same day, which saw many services merged to create new cross City services, which would not divert to serve the station.Consequently, just two thirds of bus services using the City Centre will serve the new station.
