 confirmed that the group's digital music distributors have decided on a release date for the group's second official album to be on November 7th. However, the group will only be promoting in South Korea for a month as they are also preparing for their Asian promotion tour in December. It was also reported that while preparing for their comeback promotions, the group have enlisted some help from some big international figures.

Then, Naver Music reported that the group will be releasing teasers leading up to the album's release. The dates of when the teasers will be released were shown and can be viewed at the group's official website. Starting on October 28, the first batch of teaser photos starting on October 28th, the group uploaded some teaser photos onto their official website. The girls are seen in chic black and white all holding antique guns while can be seen Lim, opting for a stylish hat. In the 2nd batch of teaser photos released on October 31, the group show off their charismatic charm under the theme called, “Red Wonder Girls.” Following the photo teasers, teaser videos for their second album was uploaded on their official Youtube

 channel on November 1st. This is the first of the two "R U READY?" video teasers to be revealed. The first teaser shows the five with their new, edgy looks, and a set with a tough, rock-style concept, as well as individual shots of each of the members. In just one day, the video received over 560,000 hits and on the morning of November 2, the video reached #1 on the "Most Discussed Video" list. The final video teaser was released on November 3rd. It revealed that the group's title track for the album will be called "Be My Baby

Finally, the second album's name was unveiled on November 4th, and was finally revealed to be "Wonder World" composing of 13 new songs with an exception of two being a remix and an English version of the title track, "Be My Baby". The music video reached 2 million views in after its second day of being released.

Chart performance

A few hours after releasing "Wonder World", it was reported that it had topped various music charts across the internet. Around 8AM KST on November 7th, the explosive reaction to album's lead song “Be My Baby“ was obvious as the track placed first on Melon, MNet, Cyworld, Soribada, Naver Music, Daum Music, Monkey3, Bugs Music, and other online charts. Not only did the group's newest title song achieved high rankings on the music charts, but all of the album tracks also being to climb towards the top of the charts which showed signs of a strong comeback.
