"Word of Mouth" spam mails state that an anonymous person posted a secret about the recipient and that he needs to pay a fee in order to see the message. The editors of Snopes examined the scheme and concluded that the scheme is a likely scam, as the owner claims to have substantial information when he has nothing. Other sources, such as Ziff Davis

The website has taken several domain names.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. IT IS A SCAM. I PLACED A $600 DOLLAR ORDER ONLY TO NOT GET ANY INFORMATION ON IT UNLESS I ASKED FOR IT, AND THEN AFTER GETTING SUSPICIOUS BECAUSE THE TRACKING NUMBER I WAS GIVEN WAS INVALID I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $348 DOLLARS BECAUSE I WAS "UNLUCKY" AND MY PACKAGE GOT STOPPED AT CUSTOMS. THIS SITE TRIED TO CHEAT THE SYSTEM AND SEND THE PACKAGE AS A GIFT. NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE DOES IT STATE THAT IS IS A POTENTIAL PROBLEM. THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING UNLESS I PLACE ANOTHER PURCHASE FOR THE AMOUNT OF THE TAXES. WHY? SO I CAN JUST GET FINED AGAIN BECAUSE OF CUSTOMS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SITE.

- Category II enterprises: batch inspection rate 40-70%;
- Category III enterprises: batch inspection rate 100%.
They told me that our company can not pay for the custom tax,because our item price is so low. Usually you don't need to pay custom fee, but this time you have to pay for it. If you can understand me, you must pay for custom fee to our company so that our company can pay that to CIQ. After you made the payment,you can receive your item in 3 days.We are terribley sorry for this unhappy thing and looking forward to your early reply.
