The World Endometriosis Research Foundation is a UK-based global charity supporting research into Endometriosis
. Its vision is "a day when no woman is crippled by endometriosis nor prevented by the disease from having children".
The Foundation was set up in 2006 after discussions between the Endometriosis specialists within the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology
(ESHRE), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the World Endometriosis Society (WES), to improve research worldwide.
