It has a Premier Division, which sits at step 7 of the National League System

), with Divisions One and Two beneath it. The top club in the Premier Division is eligible for promotion to the Sussex County League
Division Three, while the bottom two clubs will get relegated to Division One. Because of the irregular nature of the pyramid in Sussex, the Worthing and District League is effectively at level 12 despite its official Step 7/level 11 status.
