(Series 1) is the first season of the singing competition based on the . Auditions were held in 12 kazakh cities and started on October 2, 2010.
The Judges were the three music producers Nagima Eskalieva
, who was the already the chairwoman of the panel of SuperStar KZ
, Sultana Karazhigitova and Alexander Shevchenko.
On 22 May 22-year-old Daria Gabdulla (Дария Габдулл), labbeled by the judges as the "kazkah Beyoncé, won the show ahead of the trio Spasibo. Gabdulla won a two-years-contract with Sony Music.
Although they were eliminated in the semifinal stage, Musaev Sisters, Eldar Myrzahanov and Ruslan Krivenkov were brought back as wildcards.

After the auditions, twenty-four semi-finalist candidates were chosen, eight in each of three categories. They were:- Under 25: Dariya Akparova, Ruslan Berdimatov, Eliza Dzhakereeva, Alexander Filatov, Dariya Gabdull, Louise Karimbaeva, Abdulkarim Karimov, Ruslan Krivenkov.

Although they were eliminated in the semifinal stage, Musaev Sisters, Eldar Myrzahanov and Ruslan Krivenkov were brought back as wildcards.
