Buccaneers in 2001. After two seasons in Toulon he moved to Lyon
to play for the Lions before shifting again to Amnéville
and the Galaxiens for season 2005. He lasted just one season in Amnéville before returning to Lyon and remains a defenseman in season 2008.
Simoni has represented France at both the 2000 and 2001 Under-18 World Championships as well as at the 2003 Under-20 World Championships. In 2001 he was a defenceman on France's World Champion Under-18 team.
