later used the shuttle carrying several photonic torpedoes to attempt to destroy the superweapon.

The ships themselves are primarily filled completely with water. They do however possess at least one oxygenated, dry room which has been used for communication with the Aquatic crew. The Aquatic ships utilize directed energy weapons as their primary offensive weapon.
