 in Madinah Province, Saudi Arabia. The college is run under the auspices of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Yanbu University College is a governmental institution ( non-profitable institution ) offering post secondary education dedicated to make the lifelong learning opportunities accessible, challenging and relevant to the adverse population of youth. It specialises in the fields of humanities, computer science, management, and information technology education.

Academic Departments

There are three Departments of the Yanbu University College, each with its own internal structure and activities. Teaching at YUC is structured around these departments of study. A student is registered in one of the department depending on the programme the student is interested in pursuing.

IT Department

The aim of the IT department is to provide excellent IT service to the YUC students as well as the university staffs. IT department is headed by Engr. Yousef Bakhsh. IT department manages the university websites, monitor the Lab using CCTV, provides LCD projectors for all the classes and labs. Wifi facilities for faculties and students and smartboard facilities for selected classes. This department also has a video conferencing room used for meeting and seminars.

Accreditation

Yanbu University College has recently obtained the accreditation from the Ministry of Civil Services to recognize bachelor degree in the index scale for all university specialties.
Royal Commission of Yanbu Executive Deputy, Dr. Oqaily Bin Daif Allah Khawadji has mentioned that the Ministry of Civil Services accreditation in the indexing scale opens job opportunities for the university students, and offers them suitable work positions in both public and private sectors.

We are also working in the process of getting accreditation from NCAAA.(National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment). We will achieve this accreditation very soon with good feedback from NCAAA team.
