Yasmine Kassari is a Belgian-Moroccan
film director.
After studying medicine in Paris
for one year, she registered at INSAS (Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle) in Brussels
and worked for the production company Les films de la drève. In the 1990s, she directed three short films and in 2002, she directed the documentary Quand les hommes pleurent (When Men Cry) about the Moroccan immigration to Spain. In 2004, she was rewarded for her movie L'Enfant endormi (The Sleeping Child).
