Lipovsky gained attention with his entry for On The Lot. His introduction video featured himself shooting down a UFO with a bazooka, all done with CGI. His film was an edited version of an earlier project, Crazy Late.
For On the Lot, Lipovsky did the special effects for the short film Time Out, which was produced along with Sam Friedlander and Adam Stein
