Yehezkeli was born in 1970 to a family with Iraqi and Kurdish

. Back in Israel at the age of 25, he attended the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, majoring in Media
and Middle East
History, where he acquired his Arabic. Later, he joined Israel's Army Radio as the Gaza
and West Bank
reporter and occasionally contributed to the Israeli Channel 1
's "Yoman" with various reports. During this time, he also completed his Master's majoring in Middle East History, as well as graduating in Media and Journalism
at the Koteret school of journalism. In 2002, he left the Israel Defense Forces Radio to join News 10 as the head of Desk for Arab Affairs. Today, he takes an active and integral part in News 10's London & Kirschenbaum with reports about Arabia and the Middle East. In 2006, he won many praises for his part in covering the Second Lebanon War. Many perceive his coverage as unique, primarily thanks to his different approach and insights in finding common grounds between Israel and the Arab world.
