These are the daytime Monday-Friday schedules on all three networks for each calendar season beginning September 1972. All times are Eastern and Pacific.
Talk shows are highlited in yellow, local programming is white, reruns of prime-time programming are orange, game shows are pink, soap operas are chartreuse, news programs are gold and all others are light blue. New series are highlighted in bold.
Notes: Where the Heart Is and Love is a Many Splendored Thing aired their final episodes on March 23, 1973. The following Monday, both soaps were replaced with The Young and the Restless and The Price is Right respectively. $10,000 Pyramid replaced Price in its previous 10:30 time slot.
