The 2001 FIA GT Championship season was the 5th season of FIA GT Championship
racing. It featured a series open to Grand Touring cars broken into two classes, GT and N GT, based on power and manufacturer involvement. The season began on March 31, 2001 and ended on October 21, 2001 after 11 races. The following titles awarded:
The title was awarded jointly to Christoiphe Bouchut and Jean-Philippe Belloc who shared the wheel of the No 7 Chrysler Viper GTS-R entered by the Larbre Competition - Chereau team.
The title was awarded jointly to Christian Pescatori and David Terrien who drove the No 62 Ferrari 360 Modena entered by JMB Competition
.
† - JMB Competition were awarded the N GT Cup for Teams due to having won five races during the season compared to RWS Motorsport's two race wins.
