2009 NCRHA Division I Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships

The 2009 NCRHA Division I Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships involved 24 schools playing in a round robin followed by a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of NCRHA Division I college roller hockey. The tournament began on April 2, 2009 and ended with the championship game on April 5.
UMSL, coached by Jaime Schulz, won its first Division I national title with a 5–3 victory in the championship game over seven-time defending champion Lindenwood
, coached by Ron Beilsten, in a rematch of the 2007 Division I National Championship Game.
Lindenwood
had won seven college national championships in a row before UMSL knocked them off in the championship game. UMSL senior forward Blake Propp scored a goal with 17 seconds left in regulation time to break a 3–3 tie. UMSL sophomore defenseman PJ Tallo added an empty-net goal (his third goal and fifth point of the game) to provide the final 5–3 margin. Freshman forward Danny Dwyer also scored for UMSL. UMSL team captains were Adam Clarke
