The 2010 Sultan Qaboos Cup is the 39th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Cup
. It is the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Oman
. This edition of the cup has been nicknamed "Al-Kass Al-'Arba'een" , literally meaning "The 40th Cup", due to the country's 40th anniversary
of modernity (although the cup is in fact only in its 39th edition).
Fanja SC entered into this edition as the club with the most number of wins, on 8.

The draw for the round of 32 was held on September 26, 2010. The first match played was between Al-Bashaeer and Nizwa on October 3, 2010.
