2011–12 Albanian Cup is the sixtieth season of Albania
's annual cup competition. The winners of the competition will qualify for the first qualifying round of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League
. KF Tirana are the defending champions, having won the Albanian Cup last season.
Except for the Second Round and the Final, the rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score was tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advanced. If the number of away goals was equal in both games, the match was decided by extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary.

Second Round
In a change from last year's format, this stage of the competition will be played as a group stage. The 16 winners from the First Round will be placed in 4 groups of 4 teams each. Each group will play a double round robin schedule for a total of 6 games for each team. The top 2 teams in each groups will move on to the next round of the competition.
