and assembled by ABG Shipyard in India. The boat have an endurance of 500 nautical miles at a speed of 25 knots and is equipped with jet propulsion system, making it capable of travelling at speeds up to 45 knots when required.
By carefully balancing the beam, deadrise and optimum LCG the craft achieves a high speed with a WIDE HULL which means two important things for the operators:
The Mono aluminium hulled vessels have a crew of eleven enrolled personnel ie 01 officer and 10 sailors. The interceptor craft are fitted with ultra modern navigational and communication equipment and are designed to perform surveillance, search and rescue, anti-smuggling and anti-poaching operations in close coast. By carefully balancing the beam, deadrise and optimum LCG the craft achieves a high speed with a WIDE HULL which means two important things for the operators:
- 1. Greater stability and hence less rock and roll = more crew comfort.
- 2. Excellent below deck space, particularly in the engine room and accommodation.
