Platt's video was the first runner-up winner in the contest. Although the video did not win the Grand Prize, it has become a major sensation on the popular video sharing website YouTube
. As of July, 2011, Platt's video, which features the original track of "Apologize", has garnered more than 36,000,000 views. His video was also used unofficially to feature the remix of "Apologize". That video has been viewed more than 82,000,000 times and is listed as YouTube's seventh most watched video all-time and fifth most watched video all-time in music.
