Adam Rippon is an American figure skater. He is the 2010 Four Continents champion, the 2008 and 2009 World Junior champion
, the 2008 U.S. junior national champion, and the 2007–2008 Junior Grand Prix Final champion.
. He is the oldest of six children. Rippon was born deaf but underwent surgery at Yale University when he was young which allows him to hear almost perfectly. He started to skate at age ten because his mother skated and brought him along to the rink.
