ACT NHMS Invitational

In the 2009 ACT Season, a new race was announced and also something a little more motivational to go that extra little for an ACT or ACT Castrol Series win. It was announced that in the 2009 season, any driver to win a points race from either class would be given an invitation to take part in the September 19th race weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The announcement was eventually ignored. Also any driver to be leading the points race at their respected tracks who ran the ACT late models would also be given an invitation to the NHMS September race. Over the course of the season, there had been 14 different drivers to win ACT & ACT Castrol series races, but then there were many others who received invitations to the race who had been either leading the points race at their respected tracks or that were respeced in the racing community and that would put on a good show.
