The British Assemblies of God came into being in Birmingham
in 1924 and today the Assemblies of God has over 1,000 leaders and more than 600 churches. On October 22, 2005, the Irish Region was allowed to join with the Irish Assemblies of God, Republic of Ireland to form the Assemblies of God Ireland.
The standard hymnal of Assemblies of God has been the Redemption Hymnal.
