He finished his elementary education at Anabu II Elementary School in Imus in 1951, whose its old main building was replaced into a modern three-storey building during his term as Governor. He finished his secondary education at Del Pilar Academy, also in Imus, in 1955. In 1969, Ayong graduated from University of the East
