Constituency boundaries

The Banffshire and Buchan Coast constituency was created in 2011 from about 5/6ths of the previous Banff and Buchan constituency (losing New Pitsligo, Strichen, Mintlaw, Longside, New Leeds, Cruden Bay, New Deer, Maud, Old Deer, Stuartfield, Fetterangus, Longhaven) and 1/8th of the previous Moray constituency (gaining Cullen, Portknockie, Findochty, Buckie) and a small part of the previous Gordon constituency (gaining Rothiemay, Knock). Previously sitting entirely within the Banff and Buchan Westminster constituency it now includes part of the Moray Westminster constituency.
