The tournament is broadcsted on Bangladeshi television channel ATN Bangla
with all broadcasting rights to this television channel.The tournament has had much success in Bangladesh with the matches being watched in large amount of people in Bangladesh
and in neibouring cricketing nations. The prize money was 7,000,000৳ and the runners up get 3,500,000৳. Also additional prizes included 50,000৳ for the fastest fifty and the most sixes.

The total spending cap for a franchisee in the first player auction was US $120,000. Under-22 players are to be remunerated with a minimum annual salary of US $1389 while highest for domestic is US $5556. The most expensive players in the NCL T20 to date are Shoaib Akhtar

The venues are of all the stadiums of the represented city which are merely a vision. All the matches are played in Dhaka. The country does not have infrastructure to support such an initiative. It is hoped in another 20 years that they would be able to do it. The final would be played in the main Bangladesh

Rules
The six teams have to go it a lottery to pick players for their teams based on the players talent put into categories A+, A, B, C, D. Also the teams can buy international players but there is a limit to two players in a playing squad at a time.Some of the team composition rules are:
- Minimum squad strength of 16 players plus one physio, assistant coach and a coach.
- No more than 4 foreign players in the squad and at most 4 in the playing XI. The number allowed in the playing XI remains unchanged at four.
- As this is domestic cricket, so a minimum of 13 local players must be included in each squad.
- A minimum of two players from the BCB under-22 pool in each squad.
Some of the differences to international Twenty20 cricket:
- A difference to international cricket is a timeout. It gives the players an opportunity to strategise and take a drink during the strict 2-minute, 30-second time limit. Each team is awarded two timeouts per innings, totalling to four timeouts for the whole game. The teams can take the timeout when instructed, but it is necessary to take it at the end of 9th and 16th over.
- NCL T20 is also known for having commercials during the game, hence there is no time limit for teams to complete their innings. However, there may be a penalty if the umpires find teams misusing this privilege at their own choice.
