Bashar Mustafa Bani Yaseen (born on June 1, 1977) is a Jordan

and has always played as player number 6 until currently he became number 8.
He is one of the vice-captains of the Jordan national football team
and participated in both the 2004 Asian Cup and 2011 Asian Cup. In 2004 when Jordan had a penalty shoot-out with Japan
in the quarter finals, Bashar was the reason why his national team Jordan was knocked out of the 2004 Asian Cup after he missed Jordan's last penalty against Japan. However, he tried to make it up to Jordan after he scored a goal against Uzbekistan
