History
Belton-Honea Path High School was completed in the summer of 1966 at a cost of $1,300.000. Renovations and additions were made to the facilities in 1967, 1987, and 2003. The school is fully accredited by the South Carolina State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools (SACS). It offers a variety of courses of study. Emphasis is given not only for students preparing for college, but also for those students preparing for immediate entrance into jobs or technical schools. The school colors are red, white, and blue with a Bear as the school mascot.Sports
