Berachampa Deulia Uchcha Vidyalaya (BDUV) is a Higher secondary school at Berachampa of Barasat Subdivision. This is one of the old schools of Barasat Subdivisional area. The school has got permission of Calcutta University and undertaken by government on 2 January 1948.Currently more than 2300 students (approximately) are reading in this school. This is actually a boy's school in status but after Madhyamik Standard it was declared as a co-educational school. Now Mr. Kamal Krishna Mondal is the Head master and Sri Bishnupada Mishra is the asst. Head master.And Mr. Amar seth is the secretary for the managing committee of the school.
History
At first on British Era the school was in the name of Deulia M.E. School and then it turns to Sir Stanly Jackson Uttam Vidyamandir. After this after freedom, government undertook this school and turns it in its current name. Not only in education, its geographical position is also important. It is situated on Chandraketu Garh, a famous historic place of West Bengal.Campus
