At eight years old, she convinced her class at school to donate their lunch money to save tropical rainforests and has since built on that mission to create global environmental change.

Writer/Author

Beth is the author of a children’s book entitled From the Jungle, about environmental awareness, illustrated by acclaimed artist and award winning graphic designer, Mel Lim. The book is set to launch in 2011 and won an American Graphic Design Award (GDUSA) for 2010. It is the first in a series of books about how children in diverse ecosystems around the globe are experiencing climate change.

Beth is also a writer for numerous publications including Blindfold Magazine headquartered in Miami and Healthy Bitch Daily, the daily health and self-interest guide based on the New York Times international bestseller, Skinny Bitch. She is also Features Editor and has guest edited for the high end Los Angeles based magazine, Coco Eco.

In 2010 she was asked to write for Kiehl's

Speaker and Consultant

Beth speaks nationally about her preservation and reforestation work in the Amazon and on the largest environmental court case in history occurring in Ecuador.

She was a featured speaker at the inaugural Leaders Causing Leaders leadership conference held in Long Beach, California in November 2010.

She is a consultant for corporations and designers who want products, services or events that are as eco-conscious as possible and has worked with global brands such as Papaya and Kayu Design.

Awards

In 2009 Beth received the Toledo area 20 Under 40 Leadership Award and in late 2009 was asked to help create and co-founded the charity gala Ferdinand's Ball, hosted by TV personality Maria Menounos

In early 2011, Beth was photographed for the book 100 Making a Difference by celebrity photographer John Russo alongside other influential people, such as Steven Spielburg, Michelle Obama, Al Gore and John Travolta.
