took place on April 30th 2010 on Churchill Downs' traditional dirt course. Blind luck was listed as a 6-5 morning-line favorite in a field of 14 and broke from post 5 with regular jockey Rafael Bejarano aboard. She came home strong to catch Evening Jewel
at the wire to win the Oaks. Her final time in the race was 1:50.70 for the one and one eighth of a mile race.
Hollywood Oaks
Blind Luck returned to racing in the Hollywood Oaks in the first week in June. Unfortunately she was beaten by Switch
when unable to catch her in the stretch.
Delaware Oaks
Blind Luck then shipped into Delaware Park for the Delaware Oaks which she won by a nose over Havre de Grace in her typical late running fashion. She remained undefeated on dirt and proved her versatility over a sloppy track.
Alabama Stakes
On August 21, Blind Luck beat the odds-on choice, Devil May Care
who finished 4th, in the fifth Grade I race of her career, the Alabama Stakes. The runner up, Havre de Grace, who was 2nd to Blind Luck previously in the Delaware Oaks. The win confirmed her status as the top three-year-old filly in the US.
Fitz Dixon Cotillon
On October 2, Blind Luck came with a late charge, just to be beaten by second choice Havre de Grace by a neck.
Breeders' Cup Ladies Cassic
With the first Breeders' Cup race under the lights, Blind Luck was racing in 10th position of 11 horse field. Blind Luck was forced to chase a slow pace coming up 1 3/4 lengths short of the Winner Unrivaled Belle
, while her rival Havre de Grace was 3rd.

Lady's Secret Stakes
Blind Luck returned to the races on Satuday, October 1st in the Lady's Secret Stakes at Santa Anita's Autumn meeting. After breaking as she usually does in the back, she dropped far behind, and lost contact with the field on the second turn and finished and uncharacteristic last place in the field of seven fillies and mares. This poor performance rendered her out of the Breeders' Cup. Tests and scans taken on her reportedly revealed that nothing was physically wrong with Blind Luck.
