Originally an intern at The Score, Richards hosted five-minute segments called Cabbie on the Street from 2001–02. After leaving The Score Television Network, Cabbie hosted & produced NBAXL and J-Zone on Rogers Sportsnet
from 2002-2005. Richards returned to The Score Television Network in 2005 to host "Cabbie on the Street", then developed "Cabbie Unlimited" and briefly hosted "Cabbie All Stars". Cabbie hosted "NBA Court Surfing" and the "Hardcore Hoops Show" on The Score Satellite Radio. Richards left The Score on November 30, 2010.

announced in a press release that Cabbie would be joining The Marilyn Denis Show
